Basically I hope this list enables you to find an alternative shade and also helps you to save money too. I’ve also tried to link to each product however, some shades are harder to get hold of so I wasn’t able to link to each and every one.

So, to tackle my issue I did a little research online as to which shades are considered dupes and I’ve compiled a list of dupes for a lot of the popular MAC shades.

Anyway, I’m always on the hunt for MAC dupes for shades I want to try, particularly those colours that I normally wouldn’t go for that are a little out of my comfort zone as the last thing I want to do is waste £15.50 on something that is just going to sit in a drawer and collect dust. Sure the quality probably wouldn’t have been as good but I do own a few dupes and as far as the shades go, they’re pretty darn great. Now I do own around 7 or 8 MAC lipsticks that I’ve accumulated over time but looking back I definitely think I should have purchased the dupe versions of the colours instead as I could have saved myself a fair bit of cash. Nowadays a single lipstick will set you back an eye watering £15.50 here in the UK which for most people is quite steep.

The only real complaint I have about them is that they aren’t cheap. The range of shades is mind-blowing and the quality of them is wonderful too. When it comes to MAC my favourite product of theirs by far would definitely have to be their lipsticks.
